Summer activities at Illawong

Illawong in Summer, January 2003. Photo: N. Pallin.

As is the case with all resort-based lodges, summer (November to May) usage of Illawong is generally much lower than winter (June to October) demand.

There are some fantastic walks in and around the lodge in summer including

  • Blue Lake Walk
  • Main Range Walk
  • Bird watching
  • Swimming

Member access is available all year around as long as you have an accredited lodge operator present in your booking party.

Non-members must enquire to the Booking Officer as to when an accredited lodge operator will be available during the summer months.

Food is stocked primarily for winter and stocks are run down during summer.
